Brand system / Selected work
STEM Global Action
One recognizable identity. End-to-end creative direction.
I carry shared brand standards through affiliate campaigns, national impact reporting and live events—from concept and stakeholder coordination to finished print, photography and film.

Project brief
The brief. The direction. The delivery.
- The mandate
- Keep a national organization recognizable across affiliates, local events and impact reporting.
- My direction
- Carry shared brand standards through identity adaptations, physical environments and a coherent editorial system.
- The delivery
- A 28-page annual report and affiliate campaign applications; creative production budget ownership of $30,000 for STEM South Carolina STEM Fest.
Creative direction
The decisions
behind the work.
I adapted the established STEM identity for STEM South Carolina, preserving the tree symbol and recognizable brand structure while introducing the affiliate name and Clemson relationship. I extended that identity across event promotion and physical applications, using print specifications and vendor communication to connect the design system to production.
- Maintained a consistent visual relationship between the parent organization and affiliate identity.
- Applied print specifications, file preparation and vendor communication to adapt the brand across flyers, banners, flags, A-frames and vehicle graphics.
- Treated Rocket Day as a connected campaign across promotional design, apparel and film. The examples span different editions of the event and are labeled accordingly.
The brand relationship
A recognizable family of identities.

STEM Global Action establishes the wider organizational identity.

The established STEM NOLA identity supplies the recognizable tree and affiliate structure.

STEM South Carolina carries that structure into a new name and Clemson relationship.
Partner-ready creative / event campaigns
Many stakeholders.
One clear invitation.
Sponsor and affiliate marks have a real job in event creative: recognize the organizations making the experience possible while keeping the audience, offer and registration path unmistakable. I adapt approved identities, coordinate brand requirements with partner marketing contacts and prepare the work for its final print and digital formats.
Scope: STEM NOLA / STEM Global Action employer-led event communications with partner and sponsor recognition. The partner identities shown belong to organizations supporting these events; my contribution was the communications creative and production.

Built a custom sound-led event identity around children making musical instruments, while keeping the K–12 invitation, registration path and Department of War DoW STEM sponsor recognition clear.

Kept the activity and action legible while recognizing supporters in a defined area. The original flyer includes Boeing, Entergy, the University of New Orleans and other event marks.
Editorial leadership / 2024 annual report
Making a national impact
easy to see.
Using organization-provided program and communications data, I designed a 28-page annual report for board members, funders, partners and families. I built a consistent editorial system across impact summaries, maps, program stories, photography and sponsor recognition—extending the brand from individual campaigns into an executive-level narrative.
My contribution Editorial design, information hierarchy, data visualization, image selection and production preparation.

Hope in High Water
A People’s Recovery Twenty Years After Hurricane Katrina
I captured hands-on discovery and the relationships between students and mentors across STEM NOLA events. Selected footage appears in this documentary, carrying the organization’s community story beyond the original event coverage.
My contribution: Original event videography.

The annual report documents a national organization serving 14 states and 36 cities. The affiliate presentation documents five application types. For STEM South Carolina STEM Fest, I managed a $30,000 branded-event production budget: $20,000 for branded tablecloths and $10,000 for event signage and T-shirts.
