Project brief

The brief. The direction. The delivery.

The mandate
Create consistent communications across a podcast launch, organizational events and the website.
My direction
Connect graphic design, event coverage and motion, then adapt each delivery to its channel and stakeholder feedback.
The delivery
Six promotional deliverables per podcast episode—three motion graphics and three cover formats—plus event photography, recap edits and website motion.

Creative direction

The decisions
behind the work.

I carried a consistent visual identity across podcast artwork, photography and motion, then adapted the finished content to its channel. The work required clear coordination with the communications team, useful revisions and dependable delivery.

  1. Build a six-deliverable promotional package for each podcast episode: three motion graphics and three cover formats, with consistent title, host and brand hierarchy.
  2. Capture both the scale of an event and the human moments within it, giving communications staff a useful range of images.
  3. Adapt a Thanksgiving recap for vertical social viewing and 16:9 internal screens, adding captions during the revision process.

Episode campaign / Sworn to Serve

Sworn to Serve
Podcast.

One episode. Six coordinated deliverables.

For each episode, I produced a complete promotional media package: three motion graphics and three podcast cover designs adapted across formats. Episode 1 shows how I carried a consistent visual identity through cover artwork, quote-led motion and video-led promotion.

My contribution Creative direction, graphic design, motion graphics and multi-format production for the episode’s promotional package.

3 motion pieces

Quote-led message · Listening invitation · Video-led story

3 cover formats

Portrait · Square · Landscape

The cover system

Episode 1 / Still artwork
Sworn to Serve portrait podcast cover featuring Sheriff Susan Hutson
Portrait cover

A vertical composition keeps the host, podcast title and identity legible in a narrow frame.

Sworn to Serve square podcast cover featuring Sheriff Susan Hutson
Square cover

A balanced cover brings the host portrait and program identity into one compact composition.

Sworn to Serve landscape episode cover featuring Sheriff Susan Hutson
Landscape cover

The wider layout gives the title and host distinct space while retaining the same visual identity.

The motion package

Episode 1 / Select a film to play
Square · 0:15The message

A quote-led motion graphic turns a selected episode message into a focused promotional moment.

Square · 0:26The invitation

Animated identity and listening cues connect the podcast’s visual presence to a clear invitation.

Vertical · 1:02The story

A longer video-led promotion combines episode audio, imagery and on-screen text in a mobile-first composition.

A repeatable release package: a shared visual identity, a distinct role for every asset, and finished work adapted to its placement.

The delivery

Delivered work

Beyond the podcast package above, my work included original event photography, recap edits and a website-header film. The selection below pairs 2024 graduation and retirement-ceremony coverage with website storytelling.

Inspect the finished work

The scope connects original creative work with practical delivery across channels. The Thanksgiving recap was revised and delivered with captions and an additional 16:9 version for internal screens.

What this demonstrates

I bring creative continuity and production discipline to an ongoing communications relationship: one identity, different audiences, and finished assets adapted to where people will see them.
